2017 River Valley Music Festival
The Zuzu Welsh Band
The 2017 River Valley Blues Festival will be held against at Salvage Station, on the banks of the French Broad River. Due to the tremendous success of the 2016 event, this year's festival has been expanded to two days, and national daily headliners have been added. On Saturday night, Janiva Magness will take the stage after a series of local/regional bands (Ashley Heath, The Paper Crowns, Moses Jones and the Dirty Badgers) bringing her Grammy-nominated powerful blues to Asheville. Sunday evening, Internation Blues Challenge winner Grady Champion will take the stage after sets from Roots & Dore, Virginia & The Slims and the Zuzu Welsh Band.
