The 2017 River Valley Blues Festival has been set for August 19, 2017, and the Zuzu Welsh Band will again be appearing, along with Ashley Heath, The Paper Crowns, Roots & Dore, Moses Jones, Virginia & The Slims, the Dirty Badgers with Duane Frye, along with nationally-acclaimed blues artists Janiva Magness and Grady Champion.  The festival further has expanded to two full days of music, food, brews, and vendors. Music will start each day around 2PM, with gates opening at noon. The site will remain the incredible Salvage Station, along the banks of the French Broad River.

Janiva will be appearing in Asheville before leaving the country for her European tour, and this is her closest stop to Atlanta, Charlotte, and Knoxville. The tickets are $25 per day or $40 for the weekend.

We have several awesome business sponsors for the event, including WNCW and WSFM-LP AshevilleFM who are providing some advertising for the event and support. Keller Williams Pat & Donna team are sponsoring the Zuzu Welsh Band and several other area businesses have provided support - The Amp Shop is even providing backline for the show.
